Attending AA meetings soon after you’ve been arrested for DUI certainly won’t hurt the outcome of your case, and in some cases, doing so may work in your favor if you are hoping for a plea bargain. No two DUI cases are the same, so it’s best to ask your DUI defense attorney if attending AA meetings is necessary and/or helpful.
